Shipper warrants that the shipment(s) is packaged adequately to protect the enclosed goods and to insure safe transportation with ordinary care and handling, and that each package is appropriately labeled and except as noted, is in good order and condition.
Split-Second Delivery Service shall not be liable in any event for any special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of profits, income, utility, interest, or loss of market whether or not Split-Second Delivery Service had knowledge that such damage might be incurred.
Every reasonable effort is made to ensure your shipment is made in a timely manner, however due to the inherent nature of the delivery business, Split-Second Delivery Service shall not be liable for the consequences of failure to make timely deliveries.
Split-Second Delivery Service shall not be liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by acts of God, public enemies, public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority, authority of law, quarantine, riots, strikes, labor disputes, civil commotions, weather conditions or vehicle failures.
Split-Second Delivery Service will not be responsible for any claim in excess of $100.00 per shipment, unless specified at the time the order is placed. Additional insurance is available at an extra charge. Recovery cannot exceed documented loss.
All claims (except overcharges) must be received in writing by Split-Second Delivery Service within 30 days after Split-Second Delivery Service accepted the shipment. No claims will be paid until transportation charges have been paid. Claims may not be deducted from transportation charges.
Delivery rates are based on the distance between zip codes in a point to point rating system. Additional charges for weight at .09 cents per lb. and waiting time at $30.00 per hour may apply. Weight charges are based on either dimensional or actual weight, whichever is greater.
